Tough Choices

We make choices every day, and most of the time we might not take the time to stop and think them through. I know for the seniors out there decisions seem to be getting bigger and bigger. People ask what you want to do with your life, what kind of career you want to have, and what your plans are immediately after highschool. While working on making my own big decisions, I've been reflecting on my smaller decisions more and more.

By stopping and taking the time to really think about why I'm making certain decisions I realize that I'm never alone in making it. I'm surrounded by people who love and encourage me every day and who help support me and want me to make the right choice for me. Maybe you're trying to make a big decision in your life and aren't sure what to do, or maybe you're simply trying to decide what FFA contests you have the time to join. Either way, don't forget that you have people in your life who are willing to help you. Be grateful for them and let them know how appreciated they are.

By talking through how you feel about different options you have with others, you might just think of an idea you've never had before. I know that weighing pros and cons of different decisions with my family and close friends has definitely been a game changer for me. I will forever be grateful for the support system I have and I want to encourage everyone to remember that if you're faced with a tough choice, you don't have to go through it alone.

With love,

Kylee Reeves
